What music education gave you,
you can help give to others.

And all you need to do is play.

We need you and your band.

Each year, the Wolph Foundation gives thousands of dollars to Northwest Ohio schools and music educators, as well as those who will teach music one day. Our donors' contributions fund instrument replacement and repair, marching band events, and provide scholarships.

In 2026, we're expanding our fundraising efforts to include live music events. Thanks to Howard's Club H, in downtown Bowling Green, we're presenting Notes For Tomorrow on Saturday night, April 18.

Want to play?

We're building a great, memorable night that features the tremendous talent of our area, and stresses the importance of music education.

Solo performers and bands of any kind are welcome to help us. We all know The 419 boasts it all: Rock and roll, Americana, punk, jazz, blues, sacred steel, the works. Your donated performance will make a difference no matter what you play, and a diverse line-up will help pull in a bigger crowd.

Contact us right away... The first acts are already on-board and we want to make sure there is room for everyone to do at least a brief set.

All proceeds from this event benefit The Joseph Wolph Foundation for Music Education, an Ohio 501c3 non-profit organization.

The lowdown:

  • Headliners will be chosen after we know who's in

  • We'll do our very best to coordinate with everyone and accommodate schedules

  • Music is expected to start at 6 PM

  • We plan to keep Howard's rocking until closing time and an "after midnight" jam is expected

  • The cover charge for the evening will be $10

  • You can sell your band merch - We'll help!

  • This is an all-ages show, with wristbands for our 21+ guests

  • Technical support will include help with load-in, load-out

  • The house to provide backline, drums, and keyboards on advance request

  • Between-set solo performers or duos are invited to play the second stage (great for acoustic acts) while the main stage is reset
